Education.
Our success is rooted in it. The group runs its own school — Clwydian Academy in St Asaph — because the industry stopped training its future, and we refused to wait. Six-month NVQ fast-tracks, regulated CPD masterclasses and Welsh-framework apprenticeships, feeding every chair in the network.
Hairdressing & barbering diplomas
VTCT-standard Level 2 and 3 qualifications for adults — two academy days a fortnight, live models, cohorts of ten, commercial skills built in.

The pipeline
is the point.
Apprenticeship starts across UK hairdressing have collapsed by nearly 70% in a decade. Rather than compete for a shrinking pool, the group manufactures its own talent — and every learner leaves with more than a certificate: a mapped route into employment, a chair, or a Charlotte Eleanor franchise of their own.
- Clwydian Academy CBC — an asset-locked community benefit company in St Asaph
- Led by a practising Senior Lecturer and Internal Quality Assurer
