Areas we cover · Mold & the villages

Salon craft,
village by village.

Charlotte Eleanor comes to you in Mold and the thirty-five villages around it — from Cilcain and Caerwys in the west, up onto Halkyn Mountain, east to Buckley and Drury, and over the tops to Llanarmon-yn-Iâl. There is no travel charge anywhere on that round.

The round

Thirty-five villages.
One doorstep: yours.

Most of these places have no salon of their own, and the ones that do have one are a drive away up a single-track lane. That is exactly the shape of place a mobile service is built for.

West

The Alyn valley

Gwernaffield, Pantymwyn, Cilcain, Rhydymwyn, Nannerch, Caerwys, Afonwen

Lanes climbing towards Moel Famau and the Clwydian Range.

North-west

Halkyn Mountain

Rhosesmor, Rhes-y-cae, Wern y Gaer, Halkyn, Pentre Halkyn, Brynford

Scattered limestone villages on the mountain road, a long way from any salon chair.

North & east

Northop & Sychdyn

Sychdyn, Northop, Northop Hall, Mynydd Isa, New Brighton, Bryn-y-Baal, Alltami

The busiest corner of the round, and the one where staying home saves a run onto the A55.

East

Buckley & Drury

Buckley, Drury, Padeswood

The largest settlements on the round, two miles from Mold.

South

Nercwys to Pontblyddyn

Gwernymynydd, Nercwys, Treuddyn, Coed-talon, Pontblyddyn

Small villages, long-standing clients, and word that travels fast.

Over the tops

Llanferres & the Alun

Llanferres, Loggerheads, Cadole, Maeshafn, Eryrys, Llanarmon-yn-Iâl

Ten minutes out on the A494 and routinely missed by anyone working to a council boundary.

How coverage works

One patch, worked
properly.

The van is in a different corner of the round each working day rather than criss-crossing the whole of it. That is the reason a village booking actually holds: your slot is offered on the day the van is already in your valley, not squeezed into a gap between two runs across the tops.

We would rather be the hairdresser every household on one round uses than a name that turns up once, three valleys away. So this is the whole list — if your village is not on it, it is not somewhere we are pretending to cover.

  • Every service travels — cut and blow-dry from £35, gents from £18, root retouch from £38, foils, balayage, perms and bridal
  • No travel charge — anywhere on the round, however far up the lane you are
  • Colour prices — for the colour alone; the wash and blow-dry is a separate service
  • All we need — a chair near a plug socket and ordinary tap water; the van carries everything else
  • First-time colour — a skin test 48 hours ahead, arranged when you book
  • Just outside? Ask anyway — if we are already in your lane that week we can usually fit you in

Your village,
your diary, your door.

Founding clients get first pick of the regular slots. Tell us your village and what you are after, and you will be first in when your lane goes live.
